Roma’s Historical Precincts Inc is a local committee dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Roma Butter Factory. Self-guided tours of the Butter Factory will be welcomed for a gold coin donation.

Moorelands Bush Nursery
Venue: Moorelands Bush Nursery, Dargal Road, Roma.
How to get there:
Drive west along Miscamble St to Orallo Rd and then onto Dargal Road, following the signage.
Time: Open 8:00am to 4:00pm
Cost: Free. Refreshments and nursery items available for purchase.
Take the trip to Moorelands Bush Nursery over the Easter long weekend and relax in the beautiful country setting! The Feed Shed will be operating ONLY on Friday and Monday with burgers all day and morning and afternoon tea available. Please feel welcome to bring a picnic and relax at Moorelands on Saturday or Sunday.

Deadly Way Cultural Show
Venue: Yarning Circle, Bungil Street, Roma
Time: Good Friday – 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm & 4:00pm sessions
Easter Monday – 8:30am & 10:30am sessions
Be welcomed to the traditional lands of the Mandandanji people with a smoking ceremony along with traditional dance and paint. Hear the history of the area while taking a short walk to discover the use of bush foods and plants, as well as an artefact/tools display and demonstration.
Afterwards, check out various products for sale including artwork, didgeridoos, clapsticks, boomerangs, books and more!

Big Rig Oil Patch Tours
Venue: The Big Rig, 2 Riggers Road, Roma
Time: Attraction open between 8:30am to 3:30pm
Cost: Adults $10, Concession $8, Children (12 yrs & under) $7, Family (2 x Adults & 2 x Children) $20. EFTPOS available.
Discover the rigs, machinery and the true grit pioneers that shaped the remarkable history of Australia’s oil and gas industry. The Big Rig’s Oil Patch attraction is an enjoyable, relaxed way to learn about Roma’s oil and gas history. The Oil Patch is an outside display of oil and gas exploration and product equipment, explained by suitable signs and audio panels. These facilities allow the oil patch to be a self-guided experience.

From Cars in the Garden (commemorating the Aussie Car Industry) to viewing the Car and Truck Restoration Program incorporating over 500 pictures of Road Trips in the USA with an Aussie Overtone. A fabulous collage of photos which tell a million stories and a visit not to be missed when you are in town for Roma’s Easter In The Country. This is a museum full of memories.

Turn left from Warrego hwy opposite Roma Saleyards. Continue straight onto Roslyn Drive and 4th driveway on Right (white arch over driveway).

A country garden with loads of charm – this little gem will keep you wandering and enjoying the intriguing old buildings inspired from Australian times of old and fresh flowers throughout. Follow all the paths till you find your own little secret garden, have a sit and enjoy all that this special place has to offer.
Canteen available with tea, coffee, cold drinks and a selection of home cooked cakes and slices. There will also be a raffle running over the weekend. All funds raised from the weekend will be donated to the Cancer Council Queensland Roma Branch.
