The Sunday morning markets will commence at 8.00am until 1.00pm at Bassett Park, Roma

Showcasing your fantastic array of arts, crafts, wares, food or drinks at the Country Markets in Arthur Street and Wyndham Streets. Customers are sure to find something to take home. Heaps of market stalls to wander through and there will be bargains to be found.

The Street Parade will proceed down McDowall Street at 9.00am on Saturday.

This annual parade show-case Charities, Businesses, Sporting and Recreational Clubs, Schools in Roma and surrounding Districts. With Floats in different shapes and sizes. This parade is a must see in Roma's Easter in the Country Festival.

The Easter in the Country Committee wish to invite all Charities, Businesses, Sporting and Recreational Clubs, Schools in Roma and surrounding Districts to be part of this year’s Roma's Easter in the Country Monster Street Parade.

Prize money $1500 for each category - best kids float sponsored by HOME HARDWARE and best community float sponsored by ERGON ENERGY

Garden One:

“Mooga” - Home of Mark and Annette Huntley, Roma-Taroom Road, Roma.

Opening times - 9am - 4.30pm

Directions - Travel north towards Injune for approx 18kms. Turn right onto the Taroom Road and Mooga is the first property on the right (only 300m)

Mooga is a spacious country garden. It has a combination of beautiful lawns, trees and interesting gardens (including a Greek garden and secret garden).

Entry - Gold coin donation to Roma Branch, Cancer Council Qld.

A canteen will operate offering morning and afternoon tea and sandwiches.

Garden Two:

Whyworry – Established Country Garden – a number of large established trees and rock features established from the property. Enter the garden via a bridge over a water feature but truly a peaceful haven. Whyworry is the home of Billy and Kaye Burton

Entry Cost: $5 per person

Opening times 9am-5pm Good Friday – Easter Monday

All funds raised will be donated to charity.

Directions: Drive north along the Roma-Injune Road to Burton’s Lane, turn right into Burton’s Lane and drive to the end where you will find “Whyworry”.

St Paul’s Anglican Church open to the public including a Windows Tour at 10:30am, vintage car display, fresh coffee, homemade cakes and slices, plants stall.

Check out! The Westside Car Display

During the Street Parade and The Westside Car Display will be parked in McDowall Street from the end of the Parade.

The Westside Car Club Meet was established five years ago in Toowoomba. The Club meets monthly with over three hundred members. There is a mixture of old school cars and modern cars. All monies raised from fundraising events go to the Homeless War veterans to purchase swags, meals and clothing.

Roma's Easter In The Country Committee welcome Westside Car Club to the festival and thank them sincerely for providing a fabulous and entertaining display of Hot Wheels.
